– Quick Tip –
That post going to be very stright forward without any screenshots (sorry… :))
When implementing HP Enclosures management pack, the HP Blade System Enclosure Monitor program won’t start without having the Trap Service. this could be a problem while OpsMgr 2012 can’t monitor its network devices while the SNMP Trap service is exists (if it does – should be disabled).
Well, the HP Blade System Enclosure Monitor program uses the cepabilities of the Trap Service which the OpsMgr deliver us… all good but the service “HPBladeSystemEnclosureMonitorService” won’t start because it has dependancy to the Trap Service.
So, what should we do ?
start –> run –> regedit
navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\HPBladeSystemEnclosureMonitorService
remove the DependOnService value and restart the server.
Have fun ! 🙂

I have installed enclosure for scom2012 but now the problem is unable to populate the data such as enclosure state. I able to add all the OA in HP monitored service and i have added the SNMP setting as well. Anything iam missing ?
Hi Siva,
